Oil Field Service Engineer on Electro Submersival Pumps

Internatinally worked on the build up of pumps, motors, seal sections, the break down of the actual pumps and the inspection of the parts used for the actual equipment.

My main duties were in manufacturing of engineering parts which included; heavy duty stone cutters, moulds for the plastic bottle industry, and gears for various machinery; i.e.; crane's gear boxes, tractors and construction trucks. I have also achieved a high level of experience on hydraulic systems as well as on high engineering metal constructions which include working on different types of welding machinery; i.e. Arc welding, Oxygen Acetylene automatic cutters and MIG weldingMy main duties at this company was the actual manufacturing and maintenance of engineering parts for Electric Submersible Units, including; motors, pumps and seal sections.I then moved on to Inspector; inspection of previously mentioned duties, duties included in this current position include; being responsible for the main stores, stock taking and all the duties included in the day to day running of a store. Under the supervision of the Work shop supervisor, I also used to co-ordinate the delegation of duties to the various teams. In the last year I was promoted to the position of an Oil Field Engineer, which included installations and lifting of Electro Submersible Units onshore and offshore, mainly in Libya and Tunis, Congo and Australia. I was also part of the onsite technical support team. Electric Submersible Unit installation with Y-tool (phinixe, zunett), oil seal section maintenance, electrical connections of main cable; i.e. splicing connection of MLE to motor head. Down hole monitoring sensors, i.e. Centinel and well lift, Baker Hughes made, and the phinix down hole monitoring sensor , shulberger made. I have expirence working and installing doule complitions with y-tools on deep water and sub sea system.
