Document Control Specialist

„« Responsible for Organizing and handling all correspondence related to receiving/sending from/to sub-contractors, client, transmittals, submittals, letters etc.
„« Tracking, organizing and distribution of received documents from the Client, Sub-Contractors to the concerned Engineers in the electronic form and hard copy where necessary.
„« Notifying and reminding concerned engineers of items pending on the follow up list.
„« Preparing weekly and monthly reports of the Document Control Group.
„« Preparing document Transmittals for Material Approval Request (MAR), Quality Control Procedure (QCP), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Factual Reports, Method Statements, CV¡¦S, JSA (Job safety analysis) Project daily & Weekly reports for approval and information.
„« Preparing Technical Queries (TQ), Field Change Notice Request (FCN) & Field Design Change Request (FDC) etc.
„« Also helped in coordinating and managing of documents for final submission to the client.
„« Communicating with higher management through electronic mail on critical and routine matters needing their attention.
„« Most of the above said responsibilities were handled using Data Base Program VBC (Visual Byblos Cyberspace).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFAICATON:

„« Diploma in COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING with 56%, Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.
„« S.S.L.C with 59%, Karnataka Secondary School Education Board.



ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION:

„« 6 Months AUTOCADD course in CADD CENTER Bangalore.
„« 6 months D.I.T (Diploma in Information Technology) course in Manipal Institute of Computer Education.
„« Also doing B.A in Public Administration from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore (As Correspondence).
