To source and procure goods and services, in the most efficient and cost effective manner via Pacer 7.0-W Apply supply chain management techniques to the day to day activity, to maximize the contribution to the companyˇ¦s profitability.

Undertakes procurement activities in compliance with NLNG management controls, regarding the acquisition of goods. Ensures adherence to company procedures, financial authorities and budget constraints.
Initiate Request for Quotation (RFQ), Prepares and issues tender/enquiry documentation to selected suppliers.
Arranges for the commercial and technical evaluation of bids, and ensure that purchase orders comply with appropriate specifications, and include applicable commercial conditions.
Receive & evaluate bids, analyze prices and other delivery conditions to ascertain competitive bidder.
Issue a Purchase Order to successful competitive bidder, whose specification & delivery prove okay as specified in the tender/enquiry documents.
Follow-up & expedite Purchase Orders to ensure prompt delivery as indicated.
Develop a sound knowledge of the supplier base to maximize their contribution to the business in compliance with the companyˇ¦s local market development policy.
Assists with the registration of new sources of supply, including vendor visits where appropriate.
Prepare commercial reports and make Tender Board presentations for procurement approval as required.
Ensure timely purchasing commitments to meet customer requirements.
Attends material status meetings with customers, engineering department, production, and keeps them appraised of the progress of all outstanding orders. Offers procurement and inventory expertise to the customers.
Contributes to the achievement of targets in Company Business Plan.
Carries out periodic reviews to determine material for agreement opportunities.
Process Stock Proposals in a prompt and proficient manner and ensure timely purchasing commitments to meet inventory level requirements.
Identify obsolete, surplus, and moribund items for disposal, and initiate disposal process.
