Petroleum Engineer

Looking for an opportunity to get my hands wet digging oil wells. I hwant an opportunity to learn a differnet oil well operations. ie, the operation of well logging, MWD, LWD, Directional Drilling, and Drilling Fluids at the job site.

- February 2009-March 2009
- Worked and trained in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) department
- Learned about all safety aspects that should be taken on the rig and in the work shop and all the actions that should be taken during emergency.
- Worked on job control project and how to control the job from the beginning when the customer request a job till the equipments are back to the work shop including quality control of the equipments and the transportation from the base to the rig and the job itself and the customer satisfaction survey about the equipments and the job overall and the service tickets.

- Trained in Tubular Running Services (TRS)
- Learned a lot about Casing and Tubing pipes (purpose, sizes, torques, material)
- Worked in the TRS workshop.
- Worked on maintenance and tests of Power tongs (casing and tubular) high torque.
- Worked on maintenance and tests of all handling tools (Elevators, Flash, Spiders, Slips)
- Worked on maintenance and tests of power unit diesel and electric engine.

- Attended a Technical Foundation Course on all oil services starting from the exploration of hydrocarbon and types of rocks and types of rigs and rigs mechanisms to all services applied on the well like Drilling, Cementing, Logging and Wire line, Directional Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, Under balance drilling, Air drilling, Completion, Liner Hanger, Fishing, Thru Tubing, Fracturing and Artificial Lift.
- I was ranked the first over 20 employee attended this course with score 90%.
