Project Engineer/Junior Piping Engineer

• Managing all activities concern with onshore piping fabrication.
• Reviewing, modifying and building mechanical piping and structure documents like P&ID, isometric drawings.
• Coordinating with client, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Procurement of materials with respect to the client approved BOM and Drawings.
• Inspection of materials used for fabrication jobs.
• To conduct Non Destructive Tests for welding and inspection.
• Inspection of internal and external coating for piping used in oil and gas fields – like visual inspection, DFT, Holiday Test, Salt Contamination test etc. – Well knowledge about the internal coating materials (polyglass – a Corocoat product), coating procedure, special equipments used for internal coating. External painting systems and color coding for piping.
• To carry out stress analysis by using ceaser II software.
• To check whether the project procedure is as per the specified codes and standards
• Adhere strictly to the company’s standard, codes, and practices. Familiar with permit system, Personal Protective Equipment and Hazardous area classifications.
• Preparing work plan prior to start of the job and discussing with the Area Authority, Team Leaders and HSE head about the risk assessment required in the job.
• Conducting tool box meeting
• Monitoring the job and solving problems on site regarding engineering and delivering safe and efficient ideas to the workers.
• Preparing and Editing of procedures related to lifting operation for heavy structures, valves, fuel tanks etc.
