Job Description

 Working as a Production Engineer in Naphtha Cracker Plant.
 Dealing with :
• Pyrolysis Furnace (SRT V),
• Distillation Columns (Hot Fractionation and Cryogenic Separation),
• High pressure steam drums (125 kg/cm2 ),
• Process gas and Refrigeration System (Ethylene & Propylene)
• Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors,
• Gas & Liquid Phase Catalytic Reactor,
• Handling of Gases and Liquids like Hydrogen, Methane, Ethylene,
Propylene, Gasoline, etc.
 Operating knowledge of TDC 3000 DCS System of Tata Honeywell as well as
Field operation.
 Have handled many startups, shutdowns and emergencies.
 Working knowledge of SAP for issuing of Permit and carry out activities
during normal plant operation, shutdown and start-up.
 Also taking care of product quality, de-bottlenecking for increasing
plant’s productivity.
 Troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
 Preserving discipline according to safety rules.

Job Description

 Was part of commissioning team for 1300 TDS Chemical Recovery Boiler
and 170 TPD Lime Kiln at Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd., Karur.
 Was a member of team of 4 for commissioning of 140 TDS Chemical Recovery
Boiler at Yash Papers Ltd., Faizabad.
 Added shop floor information to my knowledge of how pressure parts are
manufactured, at GB Engineering, Trichy.
 Was a member of commissioning team of 950 TDS Chemical Recovery Boiler
at ITC – Paperboard & Specialty Paper Division, Bhadrachalam.

During commissioning, learned to take equipment trials, cross check different systems with the P&IDs as a pre-commissioning activity, check process and safety interlocks, do modifications wherever required for better and safe operation.
