JOB DUTIES:
>Look after final inspection of pipe, Visual inspection of length of pipe, Ovality, Thickness, and Beveling. SAW ID & OD Welding, Tack Welding, Bed Height, Bed Off, Straightness of pipe.
>Reviewing NDT test with TPI like Plate UT, Pipe UT, MPI, Hydro test, RT Film interpretation and having good knowledge of API 5L and ASME Codes.
>In QC lab I have to look after all types of laboratory test such as TENSILE TEST, HARDNESS TEST, DWTT (drop weight tear test), IMPACT TEST, CTOD (crack tip opening displacement) test, GUIDED BEND TEST, CHEMICAL ANALYSIS, MACRO ANALYSIS, MICRO ANALYSIS, and METALLOGRAPHY as per API-5L and customer specification.
>Documentation of quality report.

2. COMPANY: ESSAR STEEL LTD, Surat
DEPARTMENT: SMP
DESIGNATION: ENGINEER
EXPERIENCE: Working from last 5 years.
JOB DUTIES:
>Look after over all slab quality, Like Surface Defects or Internal Defects, Macro Analysis, Nitrogen pickup and Sulphur print sampling.
>Look after Aim Chemistry, Rejection and Diverting as per Customer Specification.
>Look after Scarfing to remove Surface Defects, Slitting and Trimming of slab.
>Working on Projects like FMEA, QC Projects, 5S and always try to implement new things in working area.
>Preparation of Quality Reports or Quality Acceptance as per ISO 9001.
>Conduct calibrations of slab weighing.
>Also Good knowledge of API Grades.
