• Experience as a Junior Engineer in a leading paint manufacturing company in India, ICI India Ltd.
• Proficient in sizing equipments and Relief Valve load calculations under different scenarios.
• Worked on relief valves under emergency relief scenarios such as loss of cooling water, power failure etc.
• Developed and validated P&ID’s in various units include Alky Flare, Boiler House, Naphtha, Gas Con, Propylene, Fluid Catalytic Cracker, & Sulfur Recovery etc.
• Well-versed in line sizing and pressure drop calculations in accordance with API 520 standards.
• Working knowledge on ‘ASME code for pressure piping, B31.3.
• Working knowledge on section I and section VIII Relief Valves.
• Proficient in designing Relief/Safety Valve and its specifications.
• Working Knowledge on ‘HAZOP’ and ‘HAZID’.
• Working experience in indentifying and locate various type and model of the relief valve throughout the refinery.
• Knowledgeable in designing process equipment using HYSYS.
• Knowledgeable in ASME B31.3, API 520/521, NACE etc.
• Proficient in developing models like sweetening and dehydration units using HYSYS.
• Strong educational background with Masters in Environmental Health and Safety Management and Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering.
• Ability in developing information, conducting meetings, and making presentations to groups and negotiating, advising, and communicating effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional analytical, computational and mathematical skills.
