Professional Experience
•Extensive process design experience, including process simulation, development of PFD's and P&ID's and other process related diagrams (UFD,UDD,Safe Guard diagram,Cause & Effect diagrams,…), Sizing of all major types of process equipment (Heat exchangers, Separators, rotary equipment, towers, etc.), data sheets, hydraulic design, duty specifications, Process description and other process related documents.
•Extensive experience on design, simulation and equipment sizing of gas treating units including Amine treating, dehydration, NGL extraction, fractionation and condensate stabilization units.
•Professionally involved in process safety design considering environmental aspects including HSE studies, process safety analysis with extensive experience on pressure relief studies, depressurization studies and design of Flare networks, PSVs, Flare stack sizing calculations including radiation and emission studies.
•Held teaching sessions on Process Equipment Design, Flare Networks, Relief Calculation, depressuring and PSV sizing in engineering consulting companies.
•Proficiency in most process engineering softwares including simulators (HYSYS,PROVISION,ASPENPLUS,PROMAX, etc.), Equipment design & rating softwares (HTRI Xace, HTRI Xist, HTFS TASC, HTFS ACOL, SIMSCI HEXTRAN, etc.) and hydraulic calculators (PIPEPHASE, VISUALFLOW, FLARENET, etc.).
•Professionally involved in process safety design considering environmental aspects including HSE studies, process safety analysis with extensive experience on pressure relief studies, depressurization studies and design of Flare networks, PSVs, Flare stack sizing calculations including radiation and emission studies.
•Deep hands-on experience of gas separation, drying, treating, compression, condensate and stabilization facilities.
•Deep hands-on experience of petrochemical industry with focus on Methanol synthesis plants.
•Deep hands-on experience of design, simulation, sizing of all equipment of Tri-Ethylene-Glycol (TEG) dehydration units.
•Familiarity with risk assessments, HAZOP and HAZID studies and participitation in HAZID training course.
•Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
•Familiarity with design and rating of Plate & Frame and Plate-Fin heat exchangers and working experience with related sizing softwares including HTFS APLE and HTFS MUSE.

•September-2000 Honored by president of IRAN as one of the top 110 young inventors/investigators of the year for development of a new way of composing/sending Persian E-mails.
The developed software became so famous in IRAN and was published and discussed in several newspapers/magazines. The software is registered as a patent in Iranian High Council of Informatics (#100039).
