Determines down the hole conditions by close observation and interpretation of mud weights, circulating pressures, pit
levels, penetration rates, drilling string weights, drilling string
Torque, etc. and takes action as indicated.
Prepares tour report of drilling activity showing footage made,
drilling, dead or lost time, and other work performed, including
repairs made to mud pumps and other non-motive rig equipment.
