Senior civil and structural Engineer

14 years of experience in design and detailing of oil and gas industrial type structures.
Strong technical background in structural analysis and design (concrete and steel) with good knowledge of geotechnical engineering.
Familiar with international standards such as ACI, BS, AISC, etc.
Conversant with STAAD III and other design software’s.
Good supervisory skills.
Conversant with Microsoft office software’s.
Capable of working in a state of the art engineering office for an EPC contractor where quality deliverables have to be issued in a short time
Good command of written and spoken English language.
Design of steel structures (including connection details wherever required) such as pipe racks, shelters, access platforms, sheet piles.
Design of concrete structures such as foundation, piles, underground pits, low-rise buildings roads, fences, boundary walls, sewer system, etc.
Produces civil general arrangement drawings satisfying other disciplines requirements.
Preparation of civil construction scope of work and performing civil bids technical evaluation.
Preparation of basis of design and construction specifications.
Evaluation of geotechnical parameters and analyzing geotechnical problems.
Preparation of structural steel materials requisition including technical evaluation of offers.
Performing site visits and detailed surveys of existing facilities.
Providing all necessary input to draftsmen and verifying drawings.
Performing work to ISO requirements as well as company and client procedures.
Working in multi-disciplinary team.
Reviews full tender package and extracts other disciplines information relevant civil design.
Provides tender estimated quantities and man hour requirements.
Maintains proper records and documentation.
Provides progress reports on deliverables under my responsibilities and provides explanation to any relevant queries.
Prepares full list of deliverables at the no set of project.
