Job Responsibilities:
•Preparation of Equipment Layout.
•Preparation of Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID) from process flow diagram.
•Preparation of piping Layout and Isometrics based on mechanical flow diagram.
•Preparation of intermediate M.T.O from Isometrics.
•How to interoperate Piping Material Specification (PMS), Process Data Sheet (PDS) with P&ID.
•Checking Piping GA’s against P & ID’s
•Wall thickness Calculation of piping & pipelines per ASME codes.
•Expansion loop & expansion joint design.
•Flexibility analysis of piping systems.
•Piping span calculation and selection of supports.
•Selection of Flanges, Fittings and Gaskets according to the required application
•Calculation of P-T Ratings for Flanges.
•Generating line list, critical line list for stress analysis from the P & IDs.
•Review of P&ID’s, Layouts, Isometrics and various piping layout
•Hydraulic Design of liquid piping system (pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation & pump head selection).
