B.Tech Chemical Engineer and MBA

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of 25 in executing various EPC projects for Petroleum Development Oman. Managed more than 25 projects ranging in value from 0.2 m USD to 200 m USD.
• Responsible as single point of contact for the entire lifecycle of assigned projects from concept , front end Design/Front end loading, detail design, construction, commissioning, handover and close-out meeting scheduled time, cost and quality parameters.

• Played a key role in the expansion of Ammonia and Urea Plant to increase capacity from 1350 to 1700 MTPD (ammonia plant) and 2200 MTPD to 3200 MTPD (Urea plant) by recovery of CO2 in CDR plant from waste gases and purge gases from PGR Plant.
• Commissioned a 30,000 TPA fatty alcohol plant in Philippines with UK technology and stabilized operations at sustained productivity levels and awarded the best in Project Management.
• Managed an EPC project for Expansion of Hydrogen Peroxide plant of 400 % capacity and effective utilization of waste hydrogen gas and achieved a breakthrough in productivity and energy efficiency in a hydrogen peroxide plant in Thailand
• Was the Management Representative for ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and OHSAS certifications and successfully led initiatives to obtain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) certifications for TPL and TSC plants.
• Operated a natural gas based ammonia plant at lowest energy consumption levels and received the award for the Best Energy Efficient Plant from National Productivity Council (NPC), India.
• Set a record for continuous operation of a natural gas based ammonia plant by achieving sustained productive operation of 910 days.
