Heating Engineer Pipe fitter Welder

I am a hard working, dedicated, professional and motivated heating engineer and pipe-fitter welder with well over 7 years experience and a drive to succeed in my work place.

Part of my experience comes from working in an industrial and commercial environment
first of all as an apprentice heating engineer and then finally a fully qualified time served tradesman.
Part of my apprenticeship was learning to weld using manual metal arc and also oxyacetylene .
I have served my trade for 7 years and have an array of experience working with copper pipe in
domestic heating systems and also large diameter steal steam pipes for steam systems in a very large
capacity. Manual Metal Arc welding and Oxyacetylene welding has been a large part of my working
duties.
I was part of the crew that installed the new boiler house in Celtic Football Club’s newest Stadium
which took place during the 1990’s.
Edinburgh University was also my place of work for a couple of years as the company I was working
for had a contract there.
The installation of a chiller system in the Whyte and Mackay Scotch whiskey distillery is also
included in my experience.

1 Higher Grade level for Art and Design

I have played guitar for a number of years performing in various original live performance groups, one of which helped raise donations for a world wide charity appeal another performing in a 16 piece orchestra for a world premiere theatre production. I also played on the professional CD studio recording of the production. I am also interested in sound engineering. I enjoy playing sports especially football and long distance running. Body conditioning and health plays a big part in my everyday life.

Travel and geography are somethings that have always interested me.
America, Australia, Cambodia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain (Ibiza and Majorca) and Thailand are countries included in my travels .
