i would like to study furthet and advance my career as a chemical specialist.

I was employed as a contract laboratory technician at Afrox GOC in Germiston; my job entailed analysing gaseous samples for trace levels of impurities (CO, CO2, H2O, O2, N2 and its derivatives as well as S derivatives) as well as verifying the components of the product before distribution. This is achieved by employing techniques such as Gas Chromatography (Galaxie and Varian Softwares) and other specialized gas purity analysers (Servomex, Teledyne, Meeco Moisture analysers).

I have a sound track record in laboratory instrument calibration, analysis and quality assurance, having worked with renowned companies in manufacturing, and development sector. Attached with the e-mail is my CV for more referrals.

I have gained experience in analysing gas samples, were Gas Chromatography and other gas purity analysers are employed for trace impurities and composition as well as verifying and declaring the final product for distribution. I also have experience in laboratory data entries, storage and management (LIMS and SAP) ICP, AAS, UV/Vis, Induction furnaces, PH meters and Filter Fluorometers as well as preparing samples for Platinum Group Metal analysis and Gold using the Nickel Sulphide method.

I am able to work under pressure with great precision and achieve accurate results. From my experience, I have established firm understanding of quality standards such as ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and the SHEQ policy; production knowledge; good laboratory practice and good manufacturing practice.
I have, in my past jobs, displayed that I can maintain effective working relations with others at the workplace. My role has, across my career, often demanded the ability to organize and prioritize work load, excellent time management skills, and I believe these skills can contribute massively into the position I’m seeking.
