Operations Manager, Supply chain, Logisitcs

• Heading Chevron (CVX) Aviation fuels and operations function as Area Operations Manager, Middle East (M.E), based in Dubai. Accountable for the region metrics in continuous Assets Utilization, Development of Capital Plans for new Business Opportunity and long term strategies.
• Accountable and jointly responsible for Aviation fuels operations and marketing revenue of US$ 600 million (gross sales) in 8 countries through Joint Ventures, Joint Operations and Chevron owned companies which are located in UAE, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Joint Ventures, Technical Services (TSA) and Chevron managed locations within M.E area which are directly managed by 4 in-country location managers and 43 operations employees.
• Develop and implement plans/ strategy for Chevron airport assets including supply and operations cost management to bring in economies of scale and Operational Excellence in Health, Environment, Safety, Efficiency and Reliability.
• Drive growth of Aviation profits by aggressively and proactively pursuing new business development opportunities throughout Middle East Area in conjunction with business development Manager.
•Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with high level government authorities, customers and third party executives, in a culturally/politically diverse area. Utilize people management, social, business and negotiating skills to accomplish business objectives.
•Responsible for administering corporate policies for direct reports relating to employee development, coaching, training, discipline and associated activities, in a culturally diverse and complex area. Stimulates development and sharing of operations knowledge, competitive information, techniques and best practices.
•Manage Chevron Global Supply & Trading in Pakistan which include Supply, Trading, Shipping and Logistics to maximize the total margin available to the enterprise. Accountable of entire Pakistan inventory management which amounts US$ 45 Million.
• Accountable and responsible all Supply & Trading of refined oils export business and competitors/ third party sales. Develop pricing and business economics.

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from NED university of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, 1998
• MBA in Marketing from Institute of Business Management, Karachi, 2007
