• 1st Engineering Group provides Technical services support to the oil industry which includes Consultants, Logistical Support, Health, Safety, Geosciences, Drilling and Front-end Services.
• Play a strategic and key role in the planning and execution of the safe and efficient commissioning and start up of the projects.
• Carry out and participate in the planning and scheduling of work.
• Participate in planning sessions with other involved departments, advise on details relating to operations and give direction to the start-up operations team to properly and safely start-up.
• Perform administrative duties including operating logs and coordinate all contracted work and activities on site.
• Manage Operations ressources.
• Coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and follow through with appropriate accurate and timely action.
• Ensures that the day to day operation is conducted in a safe, efficient manner, and that operations are optimized over the long term.

02/2009 – 09/2009 Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Engineer, RPS GROUP in WESTERNGECO
Crew for RWE, Libya, Consultant.
• Visual clearance of source and receiver seismic lines and access routes.
• Maintain records and reports of all UXO findings
• Investigation of potentially higher risk areas.
• Delineating and marking of potentially higher risk areas.
• UXO risk analysis and reporting to the Clients Programme Manager.
• Technical reporting to Head Quarter in Chepstow, UK.
• Liaison with Libyan Civil Defence for disposal of UXO.
• Training of Crew personnel in UXO awareness and Mine Risk Education (MRE).
