• Development of Design Basis, Scope of work, process systems adequacy checks, Concept evaluations, participating in HAZOP and Risk assessment workshops.
• Preparation of P&IDs, PFDs, heat and material balance sheets, Data/Specification sheets for equipments and instruments (Control valves and PSVs), Sizing and selection of equipment (like separators, slug catchers, pumps, compressors etc),
• Technical support for two natural gas plants (one Separex membranes technology based and other Acid gas absorption with MDEA based) operations, day to day operational troubleshooting, modifications, commissioning and operating procedures.
• Optimizing plant operation, performance monitoring, preparing natural gas sales invoices and plant utilization methodologies for JV partners.
• Process simulation using HYSYS and DESIGN II simulators
• Heat exchangers thermal rating and design, using HTRI Exchanger Suite.
• Flow line simulation for liquid hold-ups, flow patterns, pressure drops, slugging analysis and process parameters profiles using PIPE SYS.
• A good working knowledge of international codes and standards like API, AGA and ISO.
• Good skills to operate software: FLOCALC and INSTRUCALC.
• A good working knowledge of Process safety and Risk Management systems.
• Good Computer skills and command in computerized maintenance management system Maximo, Networking and business applications
• Have an intensive knowledge of DCS (Delta V), PLC, Fire & gas monitoring and shut-down system (Triconex), and HMI PLC (Modicon) based centralized controlling & monitoring.
• Familiar with the Permit to Work system and Job Safety Analysis.
• Day to day Activities:
o Technical assistance to Operations and Project teams.
o Evaluation of Engineering Change Requests and preparation of design packages for modifications at OMV gas processing plants.
o Resolving technical issues raised by sales gas buyers, reconciliation of sales gas, generation of sales gas invoices.
