Drilling Engineer

Working with Petrodar increased my ability to work under pressure and handle responsibilities assigned to me from my top management. Also I gain more skills on negotiating with contractors and suppliers.

My main responsibilities was :

 Preparing more than 200 standard drilling programs and procedures in accordance with industry recognized technical criteria and applicable drilling.
 Designing safe and economic casing programs, BHAs, well bore hydraulics.
 Prepared more than 200 AFE”s and monitor/coordinate cost control.
 Prepared the Operation budget for the 2010 Work program.
 Monitoring and the daily drilling operation and verified drilling data, anticipated drilling problems.
 Analyzing problems occurring in equipment and drilling operations and prepared reports and studies on those problems encountered in conjunction with the senior drilling engineer.
 Maintaining up to date statistics and issued monthly routine reports such as rig activity report.
 Verifying contractor invoices with own records for duration of work activities and cost of hire and endorses invoices for payment without rejected items from OEPA.
 Evaluating information to determine future drilling methods and related tools and equipment to be used, used information from daily drilling activity reports, including bit records, nozzle sizes, drilling speed, bit and mud conditions.
 Carrying out two studies on Bits and cementing which results in optimizing bit selection and cement operations efficiency.
 Carried out four trial runs for bit companies and evaluate the results to select the best bit to be provided by the contractor.
 Participated in Gumry small structure FDP which carried out in China 2009 as a representative for my company on the Production and Drilling Technology section.
