Senior Contracts Engineer :-
1. Reports to Manager Supply Department.
2. Implementation of the annual contracting plan.
3. Accountable for ensuring timely and committed provision of contracted services as requested by users, understanding all necessary follow up, plans and related activities. Work performed and recommendations to Management which will have financial and operational impacts on the Company’s operations.
4. Determines work methods from several existing alternative methods according to established policies and professional standards.
5. Experience in dealing with high value Tenders of PMC/ FEED/ EPCM/ EPC/ LSTK.
6. Familiar with FIDIC Terms & Conditions.
Objective of Job existence : -
Handles all aspects of contract administration, including pre and post contract activities, covering aspects such as evaluation criteria, negotiation strategies, coordination with users and contractors, variations, assessing commitment and all necessary follow-up until completion of all contractual obligations. Ensures provision of timely and satisfactory services that meet requirements.
Work Performed : -
1 Receives and Analyses Scopes, Specifications and BOQ for works and services to be contracted. Clarifies / modifies work aspects when necessary and verifies technical evaluation criteria.
2 Prepare acquisition Plan through Maximo Database.
3 Sets Bidders Pre-Qualification criteria, evaluates bidder’s technical capabilities to meet contract specifications and recommends bidders list. Submits bidders List to proper authority for bidders list approval ( Tender Committee or Manager Supply Department depending on the estimated cost and approved delegation of authority ).
4 Prepare Draft Tender Document, review by user division and incorporate user comments ( if any ).
5 Prepare and issue Invitation to Tender in liaison with user division and issue Tender Documents to approved bidders. Maintain a comprehensive register of contracts using Maximo software.
6 Complete the Tendering Cycle including Technical & Commercial Evaluation and Award Formalities.
7 Preparation of Contract Documents, signatures and dispatch.
8 All VO’s & Contract Close Outs etc.

Professional Qualifications :
Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, A.P. State, India, Passed in 1985
Special Courses :
1. Continuing Education course on “Architecture For Civil Engineers”
from Institute of Engineers, Madras.
2. Continuing Education course on “Valuation” from Institute of
Engineers, Madras.
3. BVQi IRCA Internal QMS Auditor ISO 9000:2000 Course - 2005
