Ability to interpret experiment results of report effectively to research team members and employer in both written and presentations form.
Independently, Dilantin was prepared: Crude benzil was placed in a round-bottomed flask with urea, ethanol, and 30 % aqueous sodium hydroxide. After the flask was attached with a condenser, it was heated for 1 hour. The reaction was cooled before addition of water, and then concentrated hydrochloric acid was added. The product was collected by vacuum filtration and water washing. At the end report was written.
