Balhaf LNG Terminal Project
Yemen

To manage the Commissioning and Start Up of an LNG Process train and plant power distribution system and associated equipment s electrical and instrumentation at Balhaf LNG Terminal. G.E. Frame 5 Turbine generation x 4 units (net output 84 MW). GE Frame7 Gas Turbine driven compressors x 2, 6.6kv Regeneration Compressor s , Process instrumentation and control systems.
PDCS included 33 kV and 6.6 kV switchgear and controls system s i.e. PLC and PMS. Prismic Brush Load Management System for complete plant power distribution and control.
Utilities included 6.6kV Variable speed drive 7MW units for soft start of the main LNG compressors turbine units.
I managed the completion of WIN PCS project management criteria and handover of systems to YLNG Operations and maintenance teams. Also the population of `as built` equipment data into the maintenance SAP planning system .
Design changes raised and completed as required to optimise operations / production and implemented as per YLNG `Management of Change` criteria. Assisted to establish maintenance regimes and planning system criteria.
