Professional Experience
More than 30 years experience of Instrumentation in the Oil and Gas industry covering a wide range of electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems in the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance phases, my last position was as the Instrument Supervisor assigned to an SBM FPSO Offshore Malaysia. Whilst my main duties were the management of works I am when required able to effect a ‘Hands On’ approach. I have played a major role in turnaround planning both in the planning and execution phases. I am computer literate using both the standard Microsoft Office package and also the individual configuration systems for measurement and control instruments and have a knowledge of CSS web design. I have considerable experience in the field of training and procedures, from the development of a structured plan through to on-the-job aspects supported by classroom theory and have good interpersonal skills. Whilst my discipline is Instrumentation I also have had good experience in the Electrical and Mechanical fields to include static and rotating equipment maintenance.
