Process Facilities Engineer in oil and gas plants

To join/ lead a high caliber / dynamic team for a major project, with a continuous challenge in field of engineering, commissioning, and trouble shooting a gas oil and petrochemical processing plants.

o Manage the commissioning, start-up and performance testing of the plant.
o Ensure the completion and closeout of all commissioning and start-up documentation.
o Provide support to the Operations & Maintenance Manager during the initial operation of the plant.
o Ensure that all commissioning activities are executed in accordance with Company and Company HSEQ procedures including application of permit to work system.
o Prepare Maintenance & Start-up Manuals, Commissioning & Start-up Report
o Prepare a Contingency Plan covering failures, breakdowns, etc
o Implement local training requirements
o Institute a schedule of pre-commissioning and commissioning meetings to be chaired by.
o EMERGENCY DUTIES : Key member of Emergency Response Team
o Acts responsibly and takes all necessary precautions to protect himself, follow workers and any other persons who may be affected by his activities from injury and preventable illness.

o Follow up plant daily operating conditions, to meet the required production rate and specification.
o Trouble shoot operation problems, recommend solutions, follow up and evaluate results and prepare technical evaluation for the final results.
o Perform Periodical Performance for the plant different equipment, using HYSYS software ( Gas Compressors, Fractionation Section, Heat Exchangers… Utilities…..etc) and evaluate results, identify deficiencies and recommend proper course of action.
o Issue Plant Production Reports (Weekly, monthly, Annually) .
o Issue Technical reports for any operation relevant transmittals.
o Follow Up Chemical Consumptions;
 Corrosion inhibitors, follow up results with Technical support Group and monitor results of Chemical Dosing.
 Utility Chemicals, follow up with operation and laboratory to meet the required specification and recommend course of action for any deficiencies.
o Follow up Chemical evaluation and Field Trials by coordination between Technical support Group and chemical suppliers.
o Coordinate with Overseas Vendors and communicates with outside representatives for any operational needs, queries….etc.
o Review any Engineering recommended modifications, to be with design limits and coordinate with Projects Dept. for the execution, commission and start up.
