Professional Experience

I am 37 years old and currently working for a government department. I have been working in the purchasing department as an Assistant to the Purchasing and Supplies Officer for nine (9) years. In this period I have acquired knowledge and ability in the whole purchasing process, from inviting bids and tenders to issuing materials to user departments. My other abilities include negotiating for competitive prices, understanding implications with regard to contracts and supplier management.

I am self motivated, quick learner, adaptable individual, friendly with good verbal and written communication skills, able to work in a team, able to learn new systems quickly.
