Field Mechanical Engineer

Project Name :Water Supply Scheme to Ar Rustaq, Al Awabi, Nakhal, Wadi Al Maawil and Al Musannah.


Responsibilities Shouldered :
1.Successfully completion of 800 diameter Carbon steel pipeline with 3 layer PE Coating on outside with shrink sleeve application & epoxy coating inside pipe, water transmission pipeline from Musannah Wilayat to Al Hazm Wilayat 28 km starting from Excavation, bed preparation for pipe, laying of pipe, welding (API Std. 1104 & Spec 5L) joints, radiography, cathodic protection(BS 7361), hydraulic testing of pipeline, backfilling etc
2.Responsible for Erection, installation, grouting, Alignment, testing & commissioning of pumps along with installation of surge protection equipments, & successfully completed 7 pumps station.
3.Liaise with the Project Team members (PM, Design Coordinator, QC Engineer., Planning Engineer etc...) to ensure the work progress as per schedule.
4.Acted as Mechanical Engineer, responsible for getting contract drawings approved by consultant resident engineer and provide it to site for execution.
5.Reporting to project manager on day to day work progress and request for additional resources to meet the work load and client site instructions.
6.Planning the site activities with Microsoft Project Planner based on resources availability and submitting the same to management.
7.Undertaking technical and feasibility studies as well as site investigations.
8.Preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
9.Chalking out weekly and monthly projections of project's progress as per planned time period,
10.Responsible for working out all materials required for the project.
11.Material reconciliation, quantity surveying also preparing variation bill statements.
12.Responsible for maintaining proper record of Pipe line Works.
13.Having a very good knowledge of Yard piping (Restrained DI piping )

Education Qualification:
2004-2008 Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with First class (68.83 %) from K.D.K College of Engineering, Nagpur University ,Maharashtra State, India.
2002-2004 H.S.S.C (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with 78.00 % Maharashtra State Board.
2000-2002 S.S.C (Secondary School Certificate) with 74.92 % Maharashtra State Board.

3.Paper Presentation done on ‘ Moisture Separator For Pneumatic System ’
4.Played two times State Level in Lawn Tennis Championship.
