POSITION: Supervisor (April 2007 to December 2009)
Job: Maintenance and installation of various machines in Oil And Natural Gas Cooperation (ONGC) Offshore platforms and rigs.
Roles and responsibilities
• Monitoring and sorting out the problem associated with the machines.

• Alignment and installation of machines.

Done the maintainence and installation of following machines in ONGC Offshore Platforms.
1) Seawater pump(GUINARD PUMPS OF 250 Bhp)
Removed the existing pump due to complaints and done the installation of new pump of same type.
2) Fire water pump (CATERPILLAR ENGINE OF 1050 Bhp, Diesel Engine)
Removal of old fire water pump including its skid, old foundation, fuel tank, base structure, gear box, etc and done the alignment for new pump and installed it on the new skid as per the drawing, fitted various types of starter like hydraulic starter, air starter and electric starter, cooling water line, new fuel tank and its mountings and accessories.
3) Gas turbine (SOLEX OF 6 MW)
Removed old turbine and installed new turbine of 6 MW.
4) Drum Shaft
Removed the drum shaft of offshore drilling rig and done the replacement of brake pad, hydraulic connection and chain drive.
5) Pipe Spanner
Done the maintenance of pipe spanner by changing its chain drive, worn gears, lubricants and finally cleaning it and reassembling all the components one by one.
