Responsible for the preparation of Design Basis, Operating, Control & Safeguarding philosophy (OCSP), Tie-in & shutdown philosophy, Hydraulic study reports, Operating Manuals, Engineering Operation Reference document (EORD), Flare reports, Addendum to existing documents, Design & HAZOP review reports and close out reports, Verification reports and other philosophy documents.
Preparation of Schematic diagrams, Process Flow Scheme(PFS), Process Engineering Flow Scheme(PEFS), Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes(PSFS) and Hazardous Area Classification(HAC) drawing
Pump hydraulic calculations, material & energy balance calculations, surge analysis calculations, Utility summary, Sizing of Separator, Knock Out Drum (KOD), Air Receiver, Heat Exchanger, pipelines / piping, Control valve, Restriction orifice, adequacy check of existing equipment, etc.
Relief valve sizing, Pressurization and Depressurization calculations, Flare system design, Vent stack design, etc.
Active participation is Design & HAZOP review and other brain storming sessions
Preparation of Datasheet for Separators, Knock Out Drums, Pumps, Tanks, vessels, Receivers, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, etc.
Instrument Process Datasheet for Control valves, High Integrity Pressure Protection System(HIPPS), Flow meters and other field instruments.
Preparation of Datasheets for vendor package units like Flare system, Instrument Air Compressor, Instrument Air Drier, Pressure Reduction unit, Cooling Tower unit, Chilled water unit, etc.
Reviewing vendor drawings & documents and inter discipline drawings / documents.
Coordinating with other functional departments such as instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc
