• Fabrication and erection of piping and steelwork.
• Preparation for Hydrotest.
• Installation of piping and steelwork.
• Installation of valves and spring supports.
• Installation of Instrument valves.
• Assisting in an overhaul of Siemens Pumps
• Experience working in HPG Area (High Pressure Gas).
• Experience working in LPG Area (Low Pressure Gas).
• Experience working with HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil), SLO (Synthol Light Oil), Alcohol, Diesel, Petrol lines etc.
• Responsible for installing of bursting discs.
• Responsible for removal and installation of PSV’s (Pressure Safety Valves).
• Responsible for installation and removal of spades in lines.
• Experience working on high structures.
• Experience in service of smith locks on valves.
• Supervision of contracting personnel during shutdowns/turnarounds. Ensuring workshop and work area is kept clean.
• Check and troubleshoot vibration on all running plant/equipment.
• Check and repair of all hydraulic equipment. Assist in day-to-day maintenance and repairs on all specialized rotating equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, multi-stage pumps and compressors, turbines, fans, blowers, gearboxes and expansion turbines.
• Assist in service of all hydraulic systems on machines and equipment (oil/filters/adjustment)
• Check and maintain all tools and accessories on a daily basis.
• Removal repair and replacing of PSV's, control valves, thermowells, pumps, pipe hangers etc.
• Manufacturing of brackets, fittings etc.
• General turning/grinding/drilling.
• Spading/blanking/swinging of pipe spool pieces.
• Assist installation/alignment of rotating equipment.
• Pressure testing of equipment. (hydraulic & pneumatic)
• Maintenance work on compressors and valves.
• Assistance during breakdowns.

Completed high school.
Completed Trade test. Completed various courses on pumps, compressors, lucbrication, pump alignment
