Construction Manager or Resident Engineer

Project: Plant/Non Plant Structure for Petrochemical & Refinery Project.

Client: Manali Petrochemicals, Indian Additives Ltd. (USA), Chennai Refineries Ltd., and Pharmaceutical Plants.

Major Project Scope:

• Construction of Pipe rack structure base (RCC) and connected structural steel works (1250meter) with concrete pedestal.
• Construction of Industrial Building like cooling tower, compressor house, tank forms, workshop building, plant building and non-plant building.
• Construction of Tank Pad foundation and connected civil works for heavy oil storage tank (steel structure).
• Construction of road works and connected drain works.
• Construction of RCC framed structure for multi-storeyed building.
• Construction of Raw Water Tank and Waste Water Treatment Plant.
• Construction of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and connected civil works.
• Construction of DM Plant with Acid proof Tiling Works.
• Painting works (special kind of anticorrosive) for structurals like pipe rack, steel tank, chimneys and routine maintenance of the same.
• Construction of HT/DG shed for the electric power supply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Over all in charge for the execution and completion of all civil works.
• Preparing method statement and submitting to the client.
• Checking measurements for the work done and certifying the bills.
• Ensure the Quality and Safety (HSE) at work site.
• Attend meeting with the contractor and consultants.
• Monitor the progress of works with bar chart and project schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors and material suppliers.
• Maintain/Keep proper records for all the works concerned.

B.E(Civil Engineering) - First Class Distinction. Passed on 1988 from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.

Completed PG Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Estimation, from Annamalai University, India.

Completed PMP (Project Management Planner) course form Chicago Institute , Dubai branch in 2009.

Awarded Distinction in my Bachelor Degree.

Since I have both Industrial and Infrastructure Projects experience worked in India (11 yrs), Singapore ( 6 yrs) and Dubai (4 yrs), I can handle any projects which is assigned to me.
