Professional Experience
a. Material Issuing-Carefully check material requisitions if it tallies with latest LOM requirement & no duplication of request. Any discrepancies shall be reported & verified with Category Engineer.
Coordinate with Night shift Material Controller for transfer of works.
b. Periodic Material Stock Checking – Physically conduct periodic stock taking on all categories of material held at warehouse / yards and update their inventory records.
c. Documentation – Responsible to prepare & maintain material related documents such as :
1. Material Reservation Sheet
2. Construction Material Reservation
3. Material Inventory List / Bin cards
d. Safety – He shall conduct Tool Box Meeting to his Sub-ordinates prior to execution of work and sees to it that proper PPE is required. Also he has to make periodic check on all equipment and gears to ensure its serviceable condition and posses no danger to user and materials. Conduct appropriate housekeeping in his work areas to maintain safe working environment for all staff.
e. Security – Coordinate with security personnel & ensure that maximum security measures area provided to safeguard all materials & properties under control of MCS
