My role is not limited to one site and is between all DSL’s work sites throughout central and fife, Scotland which at one point covered 4 sites within different environments which I have listed below.

My role at FEP Mossmorran is to act as HSE Advisor offering support to the management and staff from mechanical disciplines such as mechanical fitters, welders, riggers, pipe-fitters, electricians as well as service providers such as scaffolders, insulators and painters/blasters on a maintenance contract.
I conduct audits, inspections, accident/incident investigations, review and implement method statements and risk assessments including ensuring compliance with Exxon Mobil’s global practices. I attend meetings with the client Exxon Mobil and management, chair safety representative meetings, deliver safety stand down presentations, identify, source, organise and deliver training requirements across our multi-disciplined work force. I lead by example and promote a positive, pro-active health and safety culture on an ethylene plant that has achieved over 5000 days LTI free.

i am currently employed with a multi-disciplined contract company who specialise in service providers such as scaffolding, insulation etc. and we also have mechanical personnel employed at Exxon Mobil in fep mossmorran, scotland. my role is to manage my companies health and safety interests across various sites in central scotland including fep mossmorran, bp kinneil and longannet power station. these 3 sites are across different environments such as energy, chemical/petrochemical industries. my personal skills are my drive and enthusiasm for my role and i would be a very good asset to any company. i am looking for a change and would welcome a new challenge abroad.
