• Preparing and controlling WPS / PQR for various grade pipes as per ASME.
• Monitoring operational parameters, verifying weld quality by fluoroscopy.
• Coordination with third party inspection agencies ( EIL, DNV, BV, TUV, PDIL, VELOSI, RITES, SGS, ABSIV etc.)
• Preparing and monitoring QAP for different grade pipes.
• Calibrating, Setting and operating AUT 16 channel OFF-LINE UT System to scan 100% of weld and body of the pipe as per specification requirements.
• Conducting all destructive testing like tensile, bend, charpy and DWTT as per ASME specification requirements.
• Oversee all ISO 9001: 2001 & API Spec. Q1
• In charge for all NDT operations like RT, UT, MT, PT, VT
• Preparing procedures to meet spec. Requirements, tracking all NDT reports and follow up of reworks to clear the pipes.
• Selection of films/probes and other operating things for NDT.
• Involvement in protective coating like 3LPE / PU / PP / FBE / CTE & CML
