Piping Design Engineer

„« Develop Piping layout,equipment layout,Piping material specification, Piping support specification &
Standard and material take off.
„« Preparing Piping 3D model and extracting Piping plot plan and Isometric drawings by 3D PDS software.
„« Perform calculation of Piping sizing, Pipe wall thickness, Piping flexibility, Piping load on equipment
nozzle, span and expansion loop, initial Equipment Nozzle displacement.
„« Checking / review vendor data and drawings.
„« Identification /Categorize and Prepare Critical line list and non critical line list based on Project Specification.
„« Perform wall thickness, load on trunnion support and flexibility calculation.
„« Evaluation of external Piping loads on various Equipment Nozzles ( like Pumps, Storage Tanks, Vessels, Compressors, Turbines , Airfin Coolers ) and prepare data sheet and compared to with their allowable load.
„« Carry out sizing & selection of spring hanger, Sway brace,Snubbers .
„« Preparation of support load data and passing same to civil department.
„« Preparation of support standard and drawings.
„« Selecting and locating appropriate Piping supports ( Shoe,Guides,Line Stop, shoe Clamp ) .
„« Complete site support for resolution of site Engineering querries arising during job execution
„« Prepare Stress Isometric, perform static &dynamic stress analysis and generate stress report byCAESARII.
„« Perform WRC 297, API 560, API 610, , API 660, API 661, NEMA-M23, Flange Leakage,PSV discharge thrust calculation by CAESAR II.
„« Perform Piping support design and Trunnion support calculation.
„« Raise design change note ( DCN ).
„« Checking / approving shop Isometric drawings ,shop support drawings and As Built drawings.
„« Ensuring drawings are comply with Project standard and specification.
„« Coordinate and /or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
