RESPONSIBILITIES
1- Trainer for (QMS) ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO-17025:2005 (Laboratory Mangement System).
2- Trainer for Seven Classic Quality Tools for SPC/SQC
3- Trainer for Process Improvement Tools
4- Trainer for Total Productive Maintenance & 5-S Japanese House Keeping Concept
5- Worked as team member in preparation & implementation of standards ISO-9001, 14001&18001. Now responsible for maintaining documents and coordinating internal audits.
6- Working independently on the project for the implementation of ISO 17025:2005, Laboratory Management System to get accreditation.
7- Responsible for inspection and testing of Ammonia, Urea and Utilities units from raw material to finish product, respective samples of gas (from natural gas to finished ammonia product), urea solutions , finished urea product and water (from canal or well to demineralized water and treated water for boilers) from different stages of inspection and testing points.
8- Provide services as team leader during chemical cleaning of different equipments at plant as and when required.
9- Provide services as team leader during unloading and loading of catalysts in different vessels and in reforming tubes and their reductions as and when required.
10- Analysis of scales and deposits, lubricants and metals.
11- Analytical work regarding environment pollution control in waste effluents (liquid and gaseous) at Ammonia, Urea and Utility Units.
12- Administration and supervision of lab staff.
13- Training of lab staff, trainee chemists and analysts accordingly and also lectures to trainee engineers and apprentice operators batches.
14- Very well safety oriented and responsible for managing in house safety meetings.
15- Selection of glassware and instruments local/foreign purchase with chief chemist.
16- Inventory control of chemicals, glassware and instruments in lab as well as in ware house.
17- Inspection of incoming materials and instruments in ware house.

I am serving with Dawood Hercules Chemicals Ltd (Ammonia-Urea Project) as Senior Chemist since 1991 and performed diversified duties within this span of time including participation as a team member in acquiring the systems ISO 9001, 14001and 18001 and now handling a project independently for the implementation of ISO 17025 to get accreditation.
