Project consists of :-
1.Monitoring of Subiya Sea Water treatment plant & NK Sea Water treatment plant (CIPF).
2.Injection of water at high pressure & flow to diff water injection wells.
3.Monitoring of water quality at injection.
4.Sampling & analysis of water at different stages of water treatment plant:-MEW, transit line, storage tank, injection well, before injection.
5.Full scale H2S evaluation of various gathering centers.
6.Sampling & analysis of crude samples from producing wells on oil field and GCs.
7.Corrosion monitoring
8.Pigging & Flushing of transit line & injection wells.
9.Sampling experience from booster stations for condensate & export gas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Assesment of water Quality during the commisioning period for Sea Water Injection Project in NK (Sabriya & Rawdatain) & Subiya Water Project. This involves on-site & lab tests like total suspended solids, Turbidity, PH, Conductivity, alkalinity, salinity, specific gravity, density, total dissolved solid, dissolved O2, dissolved H2S & dissolved CO2.
•Using different types of colorimetric ampoules.
•Online corrosion rate (MPY) & by weight loss coupons.
•Determination of total Fe, free & total CL2, NO3, NO4 and SO4 content by spectrophotometer.
•Sampling producing wells for water cut, water chemistry & crude quality
•Monthly analysis for bacteria test using media, SRB, GAB & GAnB bacteria growth by serial dilution & MPN cal.
•Sampling of gas, oil & water samples from producing wells, various points of GCs, aquifer & injection wells & also following on site & lab analysis date & reporting.
•Water analysis in terms of bio indicators (BOD & COD)
•Knowledge of handling ICP analysis for metals, trace metals & heavy metals in water.
•Estimation of chlorides, bicarbonates by titration methods.
•Spectro- photometer analysis for trace elements.
•Oil in water by Horiba oil in water analyzer & TOG / TPH analyzer.
•BS & W by centrifuge technique.
•Density measurement by Anton Pare Density meter
•Viscosity measurement on cannon viscometer.
•H2S measurement for the gas samples by Gastec tubes.
