Mechanical maintenance and reliability engineer

To achieve the Excellency in mechanical maintenance and reliability in petrochemical and refinery plant by Knowledge updating and using new reliability tools.

Experience: -18 years (Reliability, Maintenance, Operation, Start-up/shutdown etc) of Refinery and Petrochemical plant: -
I am working in PetroRabigh “Refinery and petrochemical Complex – Saudi Arabia” (i.e. Joint Venture of Saudi Aremco and sumitomo chemical Japan) as a Maintenance planning Engineer for Oil Refinery. I also (16.5 years) worked in RIL-NMD (Reliance Industries Ltd.- Nogothane). I joined Reliance industries on 4th June 1993 worked in polypropylene plant (Mech.-Maint.) as a lead Engineer. I have also worked in Reliability,Project cell, Utility (Operation & Maintenance), Power Plant – Maintenance.

PetroRabigh refinery (Oct. 2008- till date): - I am working in T & I (Testing and inspection) department and responsible for long term maintenance (resources planning) and scheduling for all major plan turnarounds shutdown and annual inspection of equipments. Coordinates major plant shutdowns in conjunction with his Section Head and operations and maintenance personnel and engineering, inspection
Responsibilities:-
• Shutdown Planning – shutdown maintenance and field project planning in Petrorabigh, Refinery and Petrochemical – Saudi Arabia
• Cost Analysis – Provide cost engineering expertise and develop cost estimation system for Operations Group.
•Asset Planning – Schedule support for asset and project work activities.
• Contract Engineering –Contractor evaluation and long term contracts and call off construction contracts.
• Maintenance Engineering – Participate in major maintenance shutdowns including Quality Control measures and spare parts allocation and prioritization.
