- Preparation of Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and
Implementation in Projects.
- Preparation of QC Procedures for initial documentation
- Evaluating inspection reports and test results as per International Standards/ Customers Standards / specs.
- Preparation of Bidding documents relating to QA/QC
- Preparation of Welding Procedure (WPS), Qualifying as Procedure Qualification Record (PQR)
- Reviewing of Mechanical Test Reports of Test pieces for PQR.
- Conducting /Witnessing Welders Qualification Test (WQT) for Qualifying Welders.
- Witnessing / Conducting Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) activities such as Stress Relieving
- Reviewing of PWHT Charts
- Witnessing/Conducting Hydro Test activities.
- Conduct Material inspection & insure that all the Material must comply with MTC’s
- Conducting Consumable Testing as per code requirements
- Working Knowledge of ASME codes ASME Sec IX, Sec VIII Div.1, Div II,
ASME Sec II Part C, ASME Sec II Part A, ASME Sec V, ASME B 31.3,
ASME B 31.1 Reviewing of MTC’s as per Code requirements.
- Material worked; P1, P3, P4, P8, SA 335 Gr. P11, P22, P91,SS 316L U.G
- NDE Coordination.
- Witnessing and preparation of Hydro / Pneumatic test reports
- Preparation of Inspection Data Manual (IDM) for Client and Company record
- Preparation of Manufacturer Data Report (MDR)
- Handling of ASME coded pressure vessels jobs.
- Repair jobs for ASME coded pressure vessels
- Witnessing NDT activities like DPT, MT, and RT, UT etc.
- Liaison with Authorized inspection agency and authorized Inspector
- Participating in weekly review meetings with the client
- Dealing with the client relating QA/QC matters.
- Attend progress review meetings with clients and take preventive measures to meet the customer’s expectations
- Liaison with senior management regarding QA/ QC matters of project.
- Supervision of QA/QC Inspectors/Engineers for different Inspection activities.
- Co-ordination with Independent labs for conducting different test like, Tensile Tests, Hardness, Chemical composition, Ferrite, Corrosion tests etc. according to codes/project specifications.
- Final submission of shop and field dossiers to client.
