Senior Engineer Mechanical Rotating/ Package Equipment

With 28 years of extensive engineering experience in the chemical/ petrochemical/ oil & gas industry, seeking a senior engineering position in Mechanical Engineering (Rotating/ Package Equipment discipline.

• Have been in engineering for Oil & Gas/ Refineries/ Petroleum Product Storage Facilities/ LPG Storage & Handling Units/ Petrochemical and Chemical Facilities/ Ammonia and Fertilizer Plants/ Acid Plants/ Offsite Facilities for 28 years.
• Successfully held various positions of responsibility as Engineer, Senior Engineer, Assistant Plant Engineer, Design Manager (Machinery & Material Handling) and Deputy Chief Engineer (Machinery & Material Handling). During this period, have gained considerable experience in all aspects of engineering, design, construction, maintenance and pre-contracts on a variety of projects and plants.
• Have been responsible for rendering various engineering services for a wide range of projects. This includes preparation of technical procurement specifications for rotating equipment, material handling equipment, packaged equipments, cooling towers and firefighting equipment for oil & gas / refineries / petrochemical / chemical / fertilizer industries, bid evaluation and preparation of technical recommendation, review of vendor documents/ drawings, suggestion of engineering solutions to field trouble reports from project sites / existing plants, cost estimates / feasibility reports, safety audits, energy audits, health studies etc. Experienced in leading a group of Engineers and Designers by providing them necessary support in technical matters as well as in scheduling the design and drafting for projects, controlling man-hours, initiating discussions with clients, vendors, etc on problems regarding design and execution.
• Attended a number of training programs in Technical, Management, Health & Safety.
• Familiar with recommending and implementing international standards and codes of practice such as API, ASME, ASTM, BS, DEP, NFPA
