Extensive drilling and directional experience gained on a variety of installations including Semi Submersibles, Platforms, Jack Ups and Land Rigs. I have been working in the offshore oil industry since March 1984. I spent 12 years working for various drilling contractors in the North Sea during which time I worked my way up to the position of Driller. In 1997 I moved on to directional drilling with Sperry Drilling Services.
I have gained considerable ‘hands on’ drilling and directional experience and now feel it is time for a new challenge.
I believe that my experience would be perfectly suited to the position of Night Drilling Supervisor and would be very interested in any vacancies for Trainee/Night Drilling Supervisors.
I am a British citizen, born and brought up near Aberdeen. I moved to South Africa in 2002 while working on a contract for Petro SA, the South African state oil company. I am now married to a South African but am available to work and/or live anywhere worldwide.
