 Good and precise measurement of lengths, OD, ID.
 Mud pumps maintenance including valves, wear plates, pistons, pony rods, fluid end and pulsation dampeners.
 Types of flanges, wellhead, casing head spools, DSA and their appropriate ring gaskets.
 Securing work site before starting.
 Very good background on BOP control unit, remote panels, BOP ram changing and annular element changing especially in Shaffer types.
 Good behavior on mud system and minimum errors.
 Very good background on drilling operation, drill string design, casing design, cement operation and design, test operations.
 Good and balanced behavior on rig floor.
 Ability to work under pressure without being influenced.

Office skills as operation engineer:-

• Ability to make tenders of super rigs.
• Good processing capabilities of rig problems.
• Handling rigs material needs
• Making monthly and annual reports of each rig solely.
• Very good background of contract items either specifications or contract .
