Welding Inspector

• Trained and experienced on all kinds of engineering and construction works including project management for more than 10 years. Besides, involving with shipbuilding and conversion, inspection of materials assembly fabrication/erection of topside, living quarters, compression module, jacket & piles of FPSO &FSO.

• Good knowledge in Project Planning, Costing, Biding, Isometric Drawing, Welding, Piping Installation, Structure Fabrication & gas storage tanks, reference with International Standard ( ASME V,ASME VIII ASME IX, AWS D1.1,B31.3 and API 1104)
• As a Qualified “AWS-CWI” Welding Inspector, have good knowledge about various welding processes & welding procedures used in Structures & Piping In shipbuilding conversion of FPSO & FSO PROJECT.
• As a Qualified “PCN RI LEVEL II(3.4) Radiography Interpretation” have good knowledge about various(X-Rays& Gamma Rays Light & Dense Metals )international standard such as AWS D1.1,B31.3 B31.1, API1104, ASME SEC V & VIII, Structural & Piping Welds in Shipbuilding and Refinery Petrochemical Plant Piping.
• As a Qualified “ PCN UT Level II (3.1,3.2,3.8,3.9) ” have good knowledge about various NDT Methods & Preparation of NDE procedures required for Structures & Piping in shipbuilding conversion of FPSO & FSO PROJECT.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• DIPLOMA IN ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING, State board of technical education Tamilnadu, INDIA – 1996 to 1999.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Certified Welding Inspector “AWS-CWI” by AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY, Miami, United States of America.
• Certified “ PCN RI Level II(3.4) ”Radiography Interpretation in (British institute of Non Destructive Testing(BINDT))

• Certified “ PCN UT Level II(3.1,3.2,3.8,3.9) ” in (British institute of Non Destructive Testing(BINDT))
• Certified “ ASNT NDT Level II ” in MT,PT,RT,UT (American Society for Non Destructive Testing)

• Good fluency in MS-Office, Power point, MS Excel.
