Petrophysical /Logging Consultant

• Twenty Plus years of experience as Logging Operator/Field Supervisor/Interpreter/Data processing expert and Specialist Petrophysicist related to Exploration and Production of Oil& Gas in ONGC ,India’s premier National Oil and Gas Company.
• Fourteen years of field experience in different oil/gas/Cbm fields of India starting from operator to supervisory levels carrying out and planning Open hole, Cased hole, Production Logging and LWD Operations.
• Six years of Petrophysical data processing and well data interpretation experience using ELAN Plus, Borview software at UNIX based workstations and also using some PC based software like Landmark’s Geographix Discovery.
• CBM productivity prediction using Proximate methods and Shear /Stoneley wave analysis.
• Worked as an active member of Multi Disciplinary group designing logging program for exploratory and development wells.
• Worked part time as a system manager for the SUN workstation.
• Engaged as an external examiner and expert for the evaluation of MTech course in “Petroleum Exploration “ at Indian school Of Mines Dhanbad”
• Part time lecturer for SEG Student’s Chapter
• Involved as an expert Petrophysicist in the overseas field evaluation and acquisition program in the North African continent for the company.
• Presently working as a Superintendent Petrophysicist at ONGC doing : a) Planning for well logging (both conventional and high tech) in both Exploratory (offshore and onshore) and developed fields, b) Online and field supervision of data acquisition by wireline and LWD logging, c)Quality control of LWD and Wireline data,d) Formation evaluation of petrophysical data (both quicklook and workstation based) and Report writing.
