Professional Experience
After my PhD (gained in 2007) in Remote Sensing (Thesis title: Techniques for fusion of remotely sensed data over urban environments) I worked for one year and a half (January 2008 - June 2009) as Scientific Support to the International Charter "Space and Major Disasters" at European Space Agency based in Frascati, Italy. In June 2009 I joined the IPSC (Institute for Protection and Security of Citizens) of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission where I am involved in a project related to the use of radar SAR data for urban areas mapping.
