Senior Electrical Field ESP and Maintenance Engineer

Provides technical expertise, functional support and assistance to all field operation and maintenance personnel on all matters related to submersible oil and water pumping systems for oil artificial lifting and water supply injection system.

Assist in the development of a comprehensive (CMMS) computerized maintenance management system of ESP and associate equipment related to the water injection and oil production system
Ensure that work under his control is conducted in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Reports all accidents, near misses and hazardous conditions pertaining to his place of work. Familiarizes with the company's (HSE) health, safety and environmental policy and practices to promote safe working conditions.
Duties Preformed
Assembly (installation) for ESP equipment (REDA, CENTRILIFT & Weatherford) as recommended vendor procedure, lay down (pulling) for ESP equipment and observation to determine the root cause failure after teardown equipment.Installation well head connector Penetrators (FMC, Cypress, feed through & QCI) and twin seal PKR.
commissioning and troubleshooting of Phoenix down hole multi sensor, download data to observe down stream status to increase life time of wells
Organize and select suitable construction materials of ESP equipment, MLE and ESP round cable to match well environmental to avoid short run life.
Troubleshooting and solve more than one problem for example gassy wells, sand, scale and formation, ………etc
Commissioning, start up and troubleshooting of all service equipment
VSD's variable speed drives (GCS Electro speed Centrilift, Speed Star 2000 Schlumberger & UniConn Schlumberger type) ESP switchboard and Motor controllers (vortex100, vortex GCS, K095 & Commander III).Power transformers (three phase, single phase, and parallel Connections).VSD designer application to select the max. Operating frequency to get the best rate with consider the limitation values.Familiar with Subpump and AutographPC ESP software Design program carry out Megger , high put test, repair and splice all types of ESP power cables
