Shift Charge Engineer

To optimize performance and high availability of the power plant by operating the plant with efficient and safe manner

2004 to present as Shift Charge Engineer at Siemens O & M Indonesia with responsibilities as follow :
-Reporting to Operation Manager regarding the status of Power Plant
-Assure that the power plant 6x143MW gas turbine units (open cycle) along with its Balance of Plant (BOP) systems is always operated in an efficient, reliable, economic and safe manner.
-Work closely with the Operation Engineer and ensure the production of the plant is according to schedule.
-Organize the work of the shift personnel and supervising strict compliance with the company’s Safety Rules
-Follow up maintenance activity progress during shift.
-Follow up outage activity during outage period.
-Live monitoring for machines performance, checking any abnormal operation taking the suitable action in operation with the desk operator.
-Perform daily routine work, attend daily meeting between maintenance and operation to discuss and correct equipment defect.
-Supervise of control room and field operator.
-Take all necessary actions to correct any incident during normal operation.
-Maintain plant in healthy and safely satiation by correct any malfunction of equipments.
-Follow equipment defects & inform maintenance to correct them.
-Supervise the preparation of the isolation & safety conditions for maintenance staff to correct defective equipment.
-The plant lock out/permit system.
