Professional Experience
I am a Singaporean currently working for SHELL Petroleum as their Learning Advisor. I act as their internal trainer and training consultant to work with Line Managers, Department Groups and Senior Leadership Team members to ensure core, specific and tailored training needs are met. With more than 15 years' of experience in Leadership Development as a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to develop plans, I have translated SHELL's learning needs into integrated workplace learning and performance solutions through customized design, development and delivery of key corporate training/development programs. I do this through regular Training Needs Analysis to make sure learning needs are current and effectively met.
I am the Country Focal Point for SHELL's Global Program called Front Line Leaders. This is a 3-year Leadership Program for emerging leaders in SHELL. I lead the local facilitator team for Front Line Leaders. Part of my portfolio includes working with Human Resource Business Partners to identify nominations and deliver appropriate candidates. With this, I plan and organise the modules and schedule facilitators (overseeing the need for further facilitator resources). I collate, track and deliver data on implementation and delivery in terms of quantity, effectiveness and impact to ensure SHELL employees are equipped with the required skills and knowledge to enable them to excell in their roles, done in a "Just-In-Time" and cost effective manner. I have been rewarded through consistent high
performance appraisals from SHELL's Management (I am happy to supply
the documentation if required).
Further, my certification in NLP, DiSC, MBTI, 7 Habits for Highly Effective People and other training and development tools add to my competency in delivering Leadership and Management Development Programs. Prior to joining SHELL, I have worked in private Consulting to prepare, implement, promote and conduct core training programs necessary to fulfil identified organisational training needs (proven track record can be supplied upon request).
