• Supervises shifts on 12 hour rotation basis. Duties involve, marshalling & escort of Aircraft, pushback, Airstart provision & engine start-up for all visiting NATO Aircrafts. Knowledgeable of technical support aspects of aircraft handling & and associated ground handling. Training & supervising internationally recruited staff & sub contractors in the above aircraft handling duties.

• Responsible for quality control. Ensuring safe working practices such as Health & safety at work & Handling of Hazardous waste & substances are adhered to.

• Assists with staff motivation & resolving of any technical, administrative or other problems that may arise during my supervision. Ensures that good working relationships are maintained within the team and also with the authority representative & the various other military organisations present.

• As well as the duties above, I am required to be ready & able to perform any other tasks as requested by the Airport manager.

SERCO - Ascension Island Base –Leading Fire-fighter 2005- 2010

●Operational Leading fire-fighter highly experienced in aviation, Maritime and domestic fire fighting

●Duty driver on a crash rescue crew providing fire cover for all inbound/outbound air movements, as well as covering any other emergency calls on the Island, on a 24hr on-call basis.

●Qualified in the use of breathing apparatus, cutting equipment and other specialised tools.

●Servicing of fire prevention equipment

Royal Navy-Naval Airman / Aircraft Handler 1999-2005

●Duty driver on a fire crash rescue crew. Dealing with the extinguish of aviation fires and domestic fires.

●Attend road traffic incidents with complete arsenal of specialist equipment.

●Trained in the use of breathing apparatus, cutting equipment, foam monitors and specialised hoses.

●Three years serving on a front line squadron, responsible for moving rotary and fixed winged aircraft on an operational flight deck. Deployed on aircraft carriers during conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
