Responsibilities

a. Materials receiving according to the inspection check list.

c. Offer the request for inspection of the materials and equipments.
(RFI for materials receiving, Installation ,testing and commissioning etc.)

d. Report the QC supervisor or construction supervisor if any deviation of activities.

e. Prepare the require documentation and hand over to QC supervisor.

Handling of OSP (outside plants) facilities

a. Excavation/Trenching Installation of concrete encased conduits duct bank, sub-ducts.

b Cable pulling ,splicing, tagging ,termination etc of optical fiber and copper cables.

c.Installation of manhole ,handhole,pedestal,pedestal guard and surface marker according
To the Drawing /plan

d. Installation of communication PVC,EMT conduits,subduct, cable tray ,elbow,T-section etc.

e. Grounding for electrical and electronics equipments.

Handling of ISP(inside plant)facilities

a.Installation of data equipments alcatel omniswitch 6850,routers and APC smart UPS and transmission equipments.

b. Installation ,Programming, Testing and Commissioning of PABX(INTERCOM) system,CCTV,fire alarm, video conference,LAN ,data and voice cables

c. Installation of public addressable system (speaker)

d. Installation of telephone and data outlet etc.
As an estimation Engineer

a. Estimate the cables for PABX(INTERCOM SYSTEM),CCTV,fire alarm, video
conference LAN and data cables

b. Estimate the cable tray and fitting materials.

c. Estimate the speaker cables, conduits, fitting material for public addressable system.

Test handled

a.Testing of fiber optic cable with OTDR equipment to determine

1.Splice loss(1310nm/1550nm)
2.Lengh of cable
3.Attenuation

THE TEST ARE DONE UNDER SAES-T-634(TELECOMMUNICATION CABLE TESTING
AND ACCEPTANCE)
