Senior communications engineer

Field work experience:
 Installing, testing, faultfinding and maintenance of Free Space Optical (FSO) Links.
 Installing, wiring and commissioning of various fixed satellite systems and familiarization with the stabilised systems.
 Configuration, test and faultfinding of satellite modems and C & Ku-band RF units.
 Co-working with British and USA experts in off-shore missions installing testing and maintaining VSAT systems on- board of exploration and production rigs.
 Daily reporting and communication with international NOC (network operation centre) in Scotland/Aberdeen.
 Use of various VSAT modems from iDirect, Comtech to Solanta and Satlink besides CISCO, Iridium and Nera equips.
 Use of wide range of test equipment and aligning tools including spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, multimeters and birdog.
 Experience in the Energy, Maritime and Communications sector.
Office work experience:
 Testing, configuring and performing software and firmware upgrades on various equipments.
 Analysing the link budget to design and optimize the VSAT system.
 Coordinating and suggesting preliminary planning of VSAT training seminars for oil &Gas client's Engineers & technicians towards GVF www.gvf.org certification.
 Comparing features of NDSatcom modems - with STMI- while preparing for a survey mission in Libya and analysing feasibility of interconnecting to the NMS.
 Searching and suggesting availability of space segment on miscellaneous satellite fleets.
 Developing and integration of the system standards.
 Participating with the Presales team while tenders preparations.
 Provide technical on-call support.

Bachelor degree of Engineering, BENHA University. (2004-2009)
 Major: Communications and Electronics.
 Graduated in July 2009 with Good grade (74.43 %).
 Graduation Project: GSM Jammer for Dual band mobile 900 & 1800.
 Graduation project Grade: Excellent.
